Aaron Mace, son of Cuba residents, earns undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis

Aaron Mace, son of Randy and Lynn Mace of Cuba, Mo. (65453), earned an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis on May 18. Mace graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts in classics and in comparative literature with a minor in archaeology from the College of Arts & Sciences.

Mace was among the 2,800 students who received degrees at the university's 151st Commencement ceremony, which was held in Brookings Quadrangle on the Danforth Campus. Mike Peters, the 1981 Pulitzer Prize winner for editorial cartooning and creator of the award-winning cartoon strip Mother Goose & Grimm, delivered the Commencement address. Peters received an honorary doctor of humane letters.

Mace is now enrolled in Washington University's School of Law.
